Varsity Athlete of the Week

The Varsity Athlete of the Week for March 7, 2017 is Catalina Cuevas, a senior on the girls varsity basketball team. Catalina was a critical part of the team's success in the MSHSAA sectional and quarterfinal wins. In the sectional game, she had 10 points, including going 3-4 from the free throw line to seal the victory. In the quarterfinal win, Catalina had 3 assists, 3 steals, and a critical block late in the 4th quarter that stopped Saxony Lutheran's momentum. She was again perfect from the free throw line to help seal the victory.
