Seventh grade Visual Art students created Department Dog sculptures that were inspired by the Community Cow sculptures of Chicago and Whitfield's own school dog, Rascal. Working individually or in pairs, students brainstormed ways to combine items that represent a particular class or department and the characteristics of a selected breed of dog.
