CIARA GUNTER '11 STATE PRESIDENT OF THE MO STATE CHILDREN OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION
Ciara Gunter '11 is the State President of the Missouri State Children of the American Revolution. Her state president's project is to raise money for the playroom or playground at Fisher House St. Louis. When built at the VA Medical Center at Jefferson Barracks, Fisher House St. Louis will be available to military members who are wounded or injured and are undergoing extensive medical treatment. It will provide warm, caring, comfortable and convenient lodging for family members at no charge. Ciara is off to a good start on her project and has raised over $3600 and collected over 400 books thus far.
At a recent meeting, Ciara presented her project along with a guest speaker from Fisher House St. Louis. She also presented Fisher House with a check for $1000.
