Affording Whitfield

Tuition and fees
Tuition for the 2012-2013 school year is $22,700 which includes lunch. 

Families may opt to pay tuition in one lump sum, in two payments, or in ten payments.

Families order and pay for textbooks online, and books are shipped directly to families’ homes.  In addition to any school supplies students may opt to purchase from our campus store, items such as the yearbook, Parents' Council dues, middle school overnight trips, snacks, and field trips are part of a monthly bill parents receive online.  Textbooks and these incidentals average $1,035 per year.

There is a $250 laptop fee for high school students and a $150 laptop fee for middle school students. There are no licensing fees for software.

Beyond tuition and these other expenses, Whitfield's programs are supported by a vibrant culture of giving. Every year, parents, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the School participate in Annual Giving, which bridges the gap between tuition and actual program costs, helping to keep tuition competitive and the School's programs strong.
