Students, faculty and staff celebrated the close of the 2011-2012 school year with a fun and festive Field Day and the unveiling of The Iliad and The Secret Voice on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Yearbook editor Allie Skrainka '12 announced that this year's Iliad is dedicated in memory of beloved Whitfield teacher, Janet Esrock.
After a full day of activities, Field Day concluded with the annual tug-of-war and the distribution of the student-produced literary magazine, The Secret Voice. The seniors were named High School Field Day Champions and clinched this year's Spirit Cup. The eighth graders earned the title of Middle School Field Day Champions.
