Jim Daniels Art

Jim Daniels (Faculty) shares this about his work: “My current body of work addresses pattern and repetition by means of geometric abstraction. I establish a system, often based on mathematics, and then alter or shift the work to create discord within the composition.

I believe by disrupting the structure of the work, the subtle nuances become more apparent- the relationship between positive and negative space is questioned and the inherent quality of the medium is revealed.”
