Hello Whitfield Community,

On behalf of the Whitfield Parents Council, welcome to the 2019-2020 school year.

The Parents Council is a volunteer, parent-run organization that collaborates with the school to support several initiatives including the Campus Store, Conant Cafe, and Dunne Concession Stand. Volunteers are also behind the scenes hanging artwork, preparing mailings, organizing meals for thespians, and providing support for numerous one day events throughout the year. This is where YOU come in! As parents and guardians of Whitfield students you are all members of the Parents Council and support its efforts through the dues you pay each fall. While dues are appreciated and necessary, they are only part of the picture. We also need your time and talents!  There are many ways to volunteer through the Parents Council.

There are many opportunities to volunteer at Whitfield including: grade level support, committees, single day events, Dunne Concession Stand, Conant Cafe and campus store shifts! Your involvement will directly benefit the school community. Use the button on the bottom of the page to sign up today!

We all agree that a deep sense of community is what makes Whitfield special. Being a volunteer provides engagement with other parents, students, staff, and faculty, thus creating a well-connected community. Our collective efforts enrich the experience generated for our children and offer us the opportunity to even have a bit of fun together.

Two additional ways to support Whitfield are using an eScrip card at Schnucks and through AmazonSmile. To sign up for your eScrip card, send your name, address, and phone number to our eScrip Chairman Cecilia Harris ( and a card will be assigned to you. When you use your card a portion (1%-3%) of your purchase will go directly to Parents Council. When you sign in through and designate Whitfield School as the non-profit that benefits your shopping, Amazon will donate .5% of the price of eligible purchases to Whitfield School. Click here for instructions on how to set up and use AmazonSmile.

If ever you have a question or something you wish to share, please feel free to contact me directly. I look forward to meeting you.
