Grandfriends Day Brings Community Together
Grandfriends Day Brings Community Together
On Friday, April 18, Whitfield welcomed nearly 400 guests to campus for Grandfriends Day—100 more attendees than last year. Now in its second year back after a long hiatus due to COVID-19, this beloved tradition continues to grow.
The morning began with a welcome reception in Cady Gymnasium, where guests enjoyed light refreshments and remarks from Head of School Dr. Chris Cunningham. Middle and upper school choir and band students performed for a full house, showcasing their talents and setting a joyful tone for the day. Following the performances, students led their guests on campus tours, sharing their Whitfield experiences firsthand.
Thank you to all who helped make this year’s Grandfriends Day such a memorable celebration!
