Lizzie Pruett ’26 Qualifies for All Ireland Fleadh

Senior Lizzie Pruett ’26 recently competed at the Midwest Fleadh, a regional Irish music competition celebrating traditional Irish arts and performance, where she earned top honors in multiple events and qualified for the All Ireland Fleadh in Belfast this August.

Lizzie qualified for international competition in two categories, earning second place in the Under 18 Fiddle Slow Airs competition and helping the St. Louis Irish Arts grupai cheoil ensemble capture first place in the Over 18 category.

Before beginning her studies at Washington University in St. Louis this fall, where she plans to study chemistry, Lizzie will travel to Ireland to represent the Midwest region on an international stage.
