Celebrating Excellence: Whitfield's Spring Athletic Signing Ceremony

On May 1, 2024, Whitfield hosted an Athletic Signing Ceremony in Cady Gymnasium. The event, organized by Ms. Amanda Henry and Mrs. Ebony Sistrunk from the College Counseling Department, was emceed by Athletic Director, Mr. Mike Roth.

Six students were recognized for their athletic achievements and commitment to their respective sports and colleges:

• Dominic Baiocchi, Cross Country at Principia College
• Safiya Butler, Softball at Macalester College
• Taryn Jones, Volleyball at Illinois Institute of Technology
• Patrick Miley, Track & Field at Maryville University
• Braydon Sellers, Soccer at Saint Louis University
• Holden Souter, Basketball at Northwood University

These students joined their fellow future collegiate athletes who previously committed to their respective Universities this fall:
