Faculty and Staff Complete CPR Training
As part of The Whitfield School’s annual August Days, faculty and staff participated in a required CPR training on Friday, August 16, 2024. This training, led by science faculty member Chris Sellers, is essential for ensuring that all employees are equipped with life-saving skills. Participants who completed the course are now certified through the American Red Cross for two years.
August Days, held during the week before the school year begins, encompasses a range of professional development opportunities for faculty and staff, as well as grade-level and department-focused enrichment. The CPR training, which was also available to middle and high school students during the summer as part of our summer programming, reflects Whitfield’s ongoing commitment to safety and preparedness within the school community.
