In a display of sheer determination and skill, these Whitfield wrestlers have navigated their way through a grueling season, and intense district championships to earn the coveted opportunity to compete on the grand stage:

  • Jackson Bassett (120 lbs): Securing an impressive 2nd place finish, Bassett has proven his mettle on the mat and is poised to make waves at the state level.

  • Porter Matecki (126 lbs): Matecki has clinched the top spot with a commanding 1st place finish, showcasing his prowess and readiness to take on the best in the state.

  • Caleb Carter (138 lbs): Carter has dominated his weight class with a stellar 1st place finish, signaling his readiness to vie for championship glory at the state championships.

  • Rome Tate (150 lbs): Tate has demonstrated his resilience and skill, clinching a commendable 3rd place finish and earning his rightful place among the state's elite wrestlers.
