Whitfield School welcomed a heartwarming reunion on Thursday, March 28, 2024, as it hosted its first Grandfriends Day since 2019. The event saw an impressive turnout, with over 300 grandparents and friends gracing the occasion with their presence.

The festivities commenced with a delightful breakfast served in the Cady gymnasium, setting the stage for a day filled with warmth and camaraderie. Attendees were treated to captivating performances by Whitfield's talented band and choir, lead by Ms. Anna Seim and Ms. Mary Kate File, respectfully, adding a melodic touch to the celebration.

Head of School, Chris Cunningham, took to the stage to share remarks, underscoring the significance of the occasion and expressing gratitude for the invaluable support of grandparents and friends in the Whitfield community.

Following the program, grandparents and friends had the opportunity to reconnect with their grandchildren and explore the school's campus through guided tours. The joyous atmosphere was further amplified with selfie stations scattered across the premises, capturing precious moments of togetherness.

Smiles abounded throughout the day as generations came together to share in the spirit of love, appreciation, and connection. Whitfield School's Grandfriends Day served as a heartening reminder of the enduring bonds that unite its community, leaving indelible memories for all involved.
