Wrestling Team Wins District Championship

Whitfield's varsity wrestling team won the MSHSAA Class 3, District 2 tournament on February 17-18 at Fort Zumwalt South High School. This is the Warriors 22nd district team title in 23 years.

The Warriors won seven of the 14 individual district championships and qualified 10 wrestlers for the MSHSAA Wrestling Championships at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, MO on February 24-25. The wrestling team will compete for its 12th state title in program history (2008, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022).
