Academic Leadership

Mrs. Ringe oversees the academic, co-curricular, and signature programs of the school, attending to the vertical alignment and horizontal coordination of our efforts across all grades. During her tenure, she has had an outsized impact on Whitfield, bringing her passion for students and student-centered learning to a broad variety of roles.

“I was drawn to the middle school at Whitfield because of the commitment to creating a student-centered environment that allows the joy of the middle years to come to life. I know from experience that middle school can be a place that helps children develop as students, and as good humans. The school’s commitment to inspire students to lead lives of curiosity, integrity, and purpose directly aligns with my own beliefs. Beliefs drive behaviors, which drive results. When educators rally behind a mission like the one at Whitfield, they will engage in behaviors that create incredible learning spaces–even when it is hard."
