Join the Goodwin Gold Society

Lola and Rickey Goodwin

The Goodwin Gold Society honors Whitfield alumni who demonstrate unwavering commitment through five or more consecutive years of giving. Named in memory of longtime faculty member Lola Goodwin and in tribute to her son, Rickey Goodwin, this society celebrates the spirit of consistent generosity that strengthens our school across generations.

Lola Goodwin was one of Whitfield's earliest and longest-serving employees, helping shape the culture of care and inclusion that still defines our school. Rickey Goodwin, a beloved member of today's staff, continues her legacy by welcoming students each day with the warm greeting: "Welcome to the family."

Strengthening the Whitfield Legacy: Every gift-no matter the size-builds upon the legacy of those who shaped Whitfield's past. Just as Rickey and Lola Goodwin dedicated their lives to welcoming and nurturing generations of students, members of the Goodwin Gold Society ensure that spirit lives on in every classroom discussion, creative performance, and athletic victory.
