As a new tradition, our first alumni newsletter of each school year will spotlight our most recent graduates and introduce them to the alumni community. Nathan Albovias attends DePaul University and hopes to study business. A favorite Whitfield memory is all the laughter and creativity in his art class.
Isaiah Alexander is studying engineering at Grand Canyon University. He thinks back fondly on the service trip to Costa Rica with Sr. Casado and other Spanish students.
Addison Barker is a student at the University of Missouri-Columbia focusing on business. He enjoyed all the Spirit Weeks and Bonfires over his seven years at Whitfield.
Jacob Bassin attends Maryville University of St. Louis where he will learn more about computer science. He appreciates all of 11th grade U.S. History teacher Matt Coryell’s classes.
Andrea Battram has made Saint Louis University her new academic home where she will focus on the sciences. One of her favorite Whitfield memories is watching the seniors run the halls when she was a seventh grader.
Ryan Baur is attending Purdue University where he is pre-med. He will miss hanging out with his friends in Stonehenge and in Schmitter Gallery during study periods.
Ramneet Bawa is a science student at Illinois Institute of Technology. His favorite Whitfield memories are of Spirit Week.
Ian Beracha is studying engineering at Purdue University. Ian still enjoys thinking about playing soccer and his freshman team.
Kelsey Blakemore will focus on the sciences and nursing while playing basketball at Southwest Baptist University. She loved attending Bonfire throughout her Whitfield career.
Nick Bolourtchi attends the University of Denver where he will learn more about business. He appreciates all of the teachers who were always there for him, going beyond their normal teaching duties to support him.
Zoe Brandenstein is studying business at Baylor University. Zoe loved her on- and off-field experiences with the field hockey team, especially when they went camping as a team.
Georgia Brown is focusing on international studies at the University of Washington. She loved Senior Digital Studio with its great mix of personalities.
Amari Christie-Pabon is embracing the liberal arts curriculum at Tulane University. He remembers playing soccer at 7th grade recess as one of many fond Whitfield memories.
Kate Courtney attends the University of Denver where she is focusing on communications. An avid reader, her favorite classes were freshman and junior English.
Martin Cueto is studying engineering at the University of Missouri-Columbia. His favorite class was U.S. History junior year.
Ryan Dickhaus is studying the sciences at Purdue University. He will miss all the fun and camaraderie he had with his friends.
Shelby Ditter is studying speech/language therapy at Missouri State University. One of her strongest Whitfield memories is going to Camp Wyman with her friends in eighth grade.
Chris Edwards is studying civil engineering at Bradley University. He enjoyed Spirit Week while at Whitfield.
Kate Epperly is learning more about earth and environmental studies at The University of Tampa. She loved building memories during Spirit Week.
Logan Ferrero studies science and wrestles at Duke University. He enjoyed daily assemblies and interacting with friends and peers on a daily basis.
Cole Gannon is taking a gap year and plans to attend Bradley University in the fall of 2022. Cole thinks fondly about playing Uno with friends in the Garden Level during study periods.
Alec Gau is exploring linguistics at Denison University. His favorite memories center on friends and the fun they created for themselves.
Francisco Gervasoni is exploring graphic design at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He thoroughly enjoyed playing against the teachers in kickball in the spring of his senior year.
Zoë Goffe is studying political science and economics at Northeastern University. She could not narrow down her favorite memories; she simply enjoyed her time at Whitfield!
Zach Gore attends Washington University in St. Louis where he is studying English. He remembers going to Memphis in 7th grade as a great class trip.
N’dia Gray is a student at Maryville University of St. Louis learning more about criminal justice and psychology. She remembers starting Whitfield as a junior and how much she immediately valued this community in which everyone can be themselves.
Sofia Gutierrez is studying communications design at Washington University in St. Louis. Like Cole, she thinks back on playing Uno with friends in the Garden Level during study periods with affection.
Agha Haider attends Emory University where he is focusing on business. His favorite Whitfield memories involve coming together as a class each year during Spirit Week and the canned food drive.
Liv Hand studies at Tufts University where they are exploring biochemistry. They loved Ms. Gerber’s advisory in general and Happify in particular.
Kirsten Hoerman attends Vassar College where she is studying creative writing and English. She is so happy to have been able to go on the Costa Rica trip with Sr. Casado.
Kaitlyn Hoffner is focusing on fashion merchandising at Columbia College Chicago. She remembers the good times with friends at Camp Wyman in 8th grade.
Lucas Kazmierski is studying zoology at Colorado State University. He enjoyed Spirit Weeks, running cross country, and playing baseball.
Sarah Kline attends the University of Colorado, Boulder where she is focusing on theatre. She has many happy memories including talks with Mr. Delautre.
Ian Koppe is a student at Rockhurst University focusing on business. He liked his study periods in Stonehenge.
Estevan Lee is embracing the liberal arts curriculum at the University of Denver. His favorite memory is when he first walked into Whitfield and felt at home due to the positive atmosphere.
JJ Lerner is focusing on sports management at Maryville University of St. Louis. Like Francisco, he liked playing the teachers in kickball the spring of his senior year.
Sasha Levin is concentrating on the sciences at The University of Tampa. She enjoyed coming together as a grade and as a school for Spirit Week and Bonfire/Lip Sync. She also enjoyed going to sporting events when there was a big school crowd.
Yuze (Eric) Long is exploring economics and business at the University of California-Irvine. He appreciated his history classes and learning about different stories and opinions.
Graham Mills attends the University of Richmond where he is learning about data science. His favorite Whitfield memory is when he won the clincher to send the Whitfield tennis team to the next round of the District Championship his sophomore year.
Matthew Moody is a student at Knox College where he is interested in both art and marine sciences. He will miss his friends and the fun they had together.
Abbie Mueller is focused on musical theatre at Missouri State University. She has good memories of Camp Wyman in 8th grade.
Elizabeth Nestor attends Texas Christian University where she is exploring health sciences. She will always remember Bonfire on the last day of Spirit Week and watching the Lip Sync competitions.
Kexin (Rita) Ni is an art student at Savannah College of Art and Design. She loved the Senior Capstone classes she engaged in during the spring.
Elliot Niemann studies computer science at Stevens Institute of Technology. He enjoyed being a member of the yearbook staff throughout his time at Whitfield.
Henry Nordlund attends Washington University in St. Louis and is focusing on computer science. His favorite memories include BC Calculus class, being on the squash team his sophomore year, playing on the golf team, and spending time with friends.
Jayden Norris is a student at The University of Tampa learning more about computer science. He will never forget the first assembly he attended as a Whitfield student.
Annabelle Ott has made Regis University her new academic home and is exploring education courses. She has fond memories of when a classmate invited her to have lunch with him and his friends, and they ended up having a great time.
JJ Pratl attends Texas Christian University where she is studying nursing. She will never forget winning the 2020 State Championship in girls basketball.
Ella Radke is studying science and taking pre-med courses at the University of Iowa. Some of her favorite memories are the ones she made with classmates during 11th grade English.
Kobe Raeman is focusing on business at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He agrees with Logan and Francisco: the senior versus faculty kickball games were fun!
Wyn Reed is taking a gap semester and plans to enroll at University of Texas at San Antonio in the spring. She loved creating art while here at Whitfield.
FangLei Ruan is studying aviation sciences at Saint Louis University. For him, the teachers and classes were both educational and entertaining, which will stay with him forever.
Anna Ruvinov is in the six-year medical program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Her favorite memories stem from being a part of the choir from 6th to 12th grade and the lessons she learned throughout those seven years.
Danny Sallis attends Stanford University where he is studying computer science. In addition to having fun playing in the senior versus faculty kickball games, he always loved advisory and the sense of community that came from those experiences.
Caroline Sarris is a student at Saint Louis University exploring creative writing. One of her favorite memories is of Pep Assembly at the end of Spirit Week.
Josh Schmidt attends Missouri University of Science and Technology where he is studying computer science. He appreciated his 10th grade history class and teacher, Dr. Attwood, and being a member of the chess club.
PJ Schulte is a student at Missouri State University focused on interdisciplinary studies. A favorite memory of his is attending his first Bonfire and bonding with the group of friends he made.
Josh Schultz is studying psychology at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He thoroughly enjoyed learning choreography and getting to know peers better while practicing for Lip Sync during Bonfire.
Harrison Schultz attends the University of Denver where he is learning about sports management. He enjoyed everything about Spirit Week.
Zoe Shacham is attending Vanderbilt University and is pre-med. Her favorite memories are of assemblies during Spirit Week when everyone is yelling, laughing, and having fun!
Grace Siems is a pre-med student at Truman State University. She couldn’t pick a favorite memory; she will never forget how close everyone is.
Eddie Simon studies engineering and plays basketball at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He will never forget the fun of Bonfire and Homecoming.
Madison Smith attends the University of Missouri-Columbia and is learning more about history and taking pre-law courses. She loves all things Spirit Week, especially Bonfire and Lip Sync.
Malik Smith is a liberal arts student at Lindenwood University. He will never forget the class of 2021 winning the Spirit Stick in 7th grade.
Nia Stevenson is exploring communications at Southern Methodist University. She will miss the unity and fun of Spirit Week.
Rosie Strum attends the University of Denver where she is learning about psychology. She enjoyed Bonfire and Lip Sync with her friends.
Frances Surmon attends Macalester College where she is studying English. Her favorite Whitfield memories include countless moments with the cross country team and time with friends and classmates.
Alex Tischler is taking a gap year in Israel and will return to study in the United States next year. He loved his Introduction to Photography class.
Alex Urbat is on the pre-vet track at the University of Denver exploring the sciences. As a new junior, she enjoyed the unique experience of Spirit Week, including Bonfire and Lip Sync.
Adriana Viviano is a student at Florida Southern College learning more about business and computer science. Some of her favorite memories involve playing field hockey and lacrosse.
Menglu (Vic) Xiao is exploring data analytics and business at The Ohio State University. He enjoyed working on projects and playing sports with his friends and classmates.
Mengxiang (Vicky) Xiao attends The Ohio State University where she is focusing on public relations and communications. Her favorite memories stem from being a part of the girls basketball team.
Ziaodi (Ade) Yang is studying at Indiana University enjoying the liberal arts curriculum and exploring education courses. She really enjoyed the special experience of Spirit Week, especially the cheering, costumes, and Friday lunch DJ.
Jia Cheng (Aaron) Zhao is a student at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing where he is focusing on finance. He enjoyed all of the new experiences Whitfield had to offer his senior year.
