Class of 2022 Profiles

As a tradition begun last year, we want to introduce our newest alumni, the members of the Class of 2022, to the rest of the alumni community. Click below to see what they are currently interested in studying as well as a favorite Whitfield memory. Let’s cheer these new alumni on in their next adventure! 

Kamran Ahmed attends University of Missouri and hopes to major in psychology. His favorite times at Whitfield were during Spirit Weeks.

Dalia Al-Sagr is studying creative writing and art at Macalester College where she also runs for the cross country and track & field teams. She will always treasure her lunchtime with friends.

Nicole Alper-Esko is a student at American University. As a member of our dance team, she loved performing at homecoming.

Sam Applegate attends DePauw University where he hopes to learn more about political science. Sam plays tennis for DePauw. He will never forget going to State Soccer twice.

Aiden Archer is studying business at Missouri University of Science and Technology. His favorite memory was winning State soccer senior year and having a large student fan section who joined the post-game celebration.

Tamir Armoza is taking a gap year through the Nativ College Leadership Program. He hopes to major in biomedical engineering when he attends college. His favorite Whitfield memories are each Spirit Week he participated in and Prom.

Tyler Arulsamy is studying computer science at Washington University in St. Louis. His favorite memory is winning State soccer.

Megan Ash attends Webster University where she is pursuing an English degree. She is thankful for the deep friendships she made while at Whitfield. 

Griffin Barone is exploring business at Loyola University Chicago. He appreciates being warmly welcomed by students and faculty when he joined the Whitfield community as a junior.

Elizabeth Bierhals is a student at Maryville University interested in forensic psychology and business. She also plays field hockey for Maryville. Liz shared that her favorite memories were the little things, like walking through the halls and smiling at everyone, students and adults. 

Evan Binder is studying mechanical engineering at the United States Air Force Academy where he is on the wrestling team. He enjoyed relaxing and laughing with friends during lunchtime.

CJ Bobo is on the pre-vet track at William Jewell College where he competes on the track & field team. He will never forget breaking 50 seconds in the 400-meter race.

Chase Brock is learning about auto collision repair at Mineral Area College. He also plays baseball for the team. He enjoyed building relationships with his coaches.

Reese Callahan is studying mechanical engineering at Iowa State University. He enjoyed wrestling for Whitfield. 

Maxine Curlee attends The George Washington University where she is studying biology. Her favorite Whitfield memories include laughing with and supporting her friends.

Langston DeHart is studying both linguistics and computer science at Macalester College. He enjoyed junior year as a whole as well as Latin throughout his time at Whitfield.

A’dia Dickerson is a student at University of Miami interested in psychology. One of her favorite memories is making TikTok dance videos in Schmitter with her friends. 

David Dressel is learning more about business at St. Lawrence University. He also competes on the eSports team. David will never forget the senior/faculty kickball game.

Ava Duel attends Loyola Marymount University where she is pursuing a Business Entrepreneurship degree. Ava enjoyed spending time with friends in the College Counseling suite.

Brian Dunagan is studying architecture and urban planning at University of Southern California. He will never forget going on after-school boba tea runs with friends.

David Fox is exploring artificial intelligence and Japanese at Drake University. He loved being a part of the musical Guys & Dolls. 

Beau Gabbert attends Millikin University where she is learning about psychology. Beau plays on the Millikin volleyball team. She will forever be grateful to her math teacher, Mrs. Dise, for her teaching and mentorship. 

Caiden Gagliano is studying on a pre-med track at Saint Louis University. He will always remember his time on the wrestling team. 

Jane Goldman is pursuing a BFA in musical theater at Syracuse University. She thoroughly enjoyed the energetic discussions in AP English senior year.

Tia Goodman is exploring her options at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, beginning with engineering. Her favorite memories include playing lacrosse and being a manager of the field hockey team. 

Walker Gray is studying dance at University of Missouri - Kansas City. Her favorite Whitfield memory is the Friday of Spirit Week when there is a DJ at lunch, everyone is dressed in green and white, and classes come together through lip sync.

Savannah Harris attends Vanderbilt University where she plans to major in English and psychology. One of her favorite memories is choreographing the class lip sync to “All Star” by Smash Mouth.

Chris Harvey is studying English and education at Washington University in St. Louis. A favorite memory is joking around with math teacher Mr. O’Connor.

Remi Hoberman is pursuing degrees in forensic science and international relations at Syracuse University. They appreciated their teachers, especially Dr. Hays.

Caleb Hutchison is pre-health at University of Notre Dame. Caleb wasn’t involved with lip sync before senior year, so a highlight of his Whitfield experience was winning lip sync at Bonfire as a senior and watching his class pull together. 

Jacob Hutchison attends Boston College where he studies engineering. He will never forget winning his first State medal in track & field junior year.

Biaya Kayembe is learning more about physical therapy and psychology at Nebraska Wesleyan University where he also plays soccer. A favorite memory is his middle school soccer team coming back to defeat Chaminade; he scored a hat trick in this game. 

Lydia Kibler is pursuing a BFA in musical theater at University of South Dakota. She remembers her sophomore year community service trip fondly.

MJ Kimbrough attends the University of Tampa where he is studying entrepreneurship and computer science. His favorite memories at Whitfield involve lip sync.

Michael Koman attends the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and is learning about business, economics, and Mandarin. As a class leader, Michael’s favorite memory is of the competitive, fun, and meaningful canned food drive junior year. 

Ava Langheim is studying international business and Spanish at Pepperdine University where she is also on the diving team. She is forever grateful that her senior year began in-person with her classmates and allowed her to build strong friendships.

Aiden Laubinger attends Missouri University of Science and Technology and is pursuing an electrical engineering degree. Aiden is also on the soccer team. He will never forget winning State soccer. 

Gemar McBurrows is exploring business, law, and psychology at Loyola Marymount University. Gemar’s favorite memory is being inspired to do more through the assembly he and other student leaders designed during Black History Month in February 2022.

Trey McWilliams is learning more about the health sciences at University of Missouri. His favorite memory is Prom. 

Alec Mella is pre-law at Creighton University and is also studying business. He appreciates the return to the traditional Spirit Week his senior year and bonding with his classmates. 

KJ Miley is studying nursing at University of Arkansas Little Rock where he is on the wrestling team. He will forever be grateful for his wrestling experiences at Whitfield. 

Jimmy Milgie attends Villanova University where he is studying mechanical engineering and competing on the track & field team. His favorite memory is scoring important goals on the way to win State soccer as well as winning State in track. 

Micah Norman is learning more about engineering and business at Westminster College. He is also on the soccer team. His favorite memory is winning the 2022 Boys Class II State Championship in soccer. 

Caroline Ott is exploring geology, paleontology, and meteorology at University of Colorado Boulder. She will never forget meeting the school dog, Sunshine, as a puppy. 

Caitlin Quirk is studying medicine at Truman State University. A favorite memory is playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends after school. 

Dillon Reatini attends Butler University and is studying biochemistry. Dillon is also on the hockey team. He appreciated having math teacher Mr. O’Connor as his coach and teacher.

Nathan Richter is exploring business at Butler University. He enjoyed his senior year Capstone experience.

Paige Robinson is studying entrepreneurship at Regis University. She loved her sophomore year with her best friends, amazing teachers, and fun activities.

Ellior Rose is studying nutrition at Case Western Reserve University where she also plays tennis. A favorite memory is playing kickball against different advisories on a muddy field junior year. 

Chad Ruff studies mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He will never forget winning State in soccer.

Tia Sansone is a student at Maryville University where she is also playing field hockey. She will always cherish the memories made during Spirit Week. 

Ian Shepherd attends IE University in Spain where he is studying business and international relations. He enjoyed Spirit Week.

Cai Shotwell is focusing on business and marketing while attending the University of Southern California. His favorite memory is cheering the girls basketball team on his senior year during the District Championship game against MICDS (Whitfield won!).

Dane Shuler is studying computer science at Missouri University of Science and Technology. He will always appreciate playing soccer with his friends sophomore year before COVID.

Grant Simon is studying engineering at University of Rochester. Grant also competes on the track & field team. His favorite Whitfield memories are of spending entire days with the track team at meets.

Sunaina Singh is studying entrepreneurship and innovation at Baylor University. Her favorite memory is going to games with friends and embracing Spirit Week. 

Keyao Song attends Washington University in St. Louis and is studying chemical engineering. She is grateful for the strong friendships she has made in the last four years. 

Lucy Stokes is pre-vet at DePauw University. She is also on the track & field team. She always enjoyed Spirit Week. 

Julia Stolker is pre-vet at the University of Delaware. A favorite Whitfield memory for her is Prom. 

Joey Ursul is exploring engineering at the University of Missouri. He made some good friends while at Whitfield.

Vishal Vaheesan is studying biomedical engineering at Saint Louis University. He thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Hays’s stories during English class. 

Yucheng (James) Wang is pursuing a business degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He will always remember the memories made during Spirit Week and lip Sync senior year. 

Dean Warren is studying political science at the University of Southern California. He enjoyed advocating for social justice during his time at Whitfield.

Halle Wasserman attends the University of Minnesota Twin Cities where she is studying developmental psychology. Favorite memories include homecoming and building strong relationships with her teachers like Mr. Records.

Elise Wheeler attends Rhodes College and is exploring psychology. Like many seniors, her favorite Whitfield experiences involve lip sync and Spirit Week. 

Summer Whittaker is studying psychology at Loyola University Chicago. She appreciated Dr. Hays’s stories and the Capstone experience.

Hadley Wilkins attends Macalester College and is studying data science and women’s and gender studies. She also competes on the track & field team. She loved being a part of lip sync each year. 

Tre Williams is exploring business and marketing at Loyola Marymount University. His favorite memory is sophomore year homecoming. 

Grace Wooten is learning about elementary education at the University of Missouri. Her favorite memory is hanging out with friends in Schmitter Gallery after school sophomore year. 

Qiheng (Jack) Wu is studying business at Indiana University Bloomington. He enjoyed engaging in Spirit Week.
