The Varsity Athlete of the Week for October 23, 2020 is Nolan Schulte '23, a sophomore on the boys varsity soccer team. In nine games this season, Nolan has scored eight goals and added two assists. He scored the game-winning goals against Clayton and Affton and has played an instrumental role in the success of the team. As a forward, Nolan is our first line of defense with a tireless work ethic. He is equally important within our attack. The example he sets is positive for both younger players and his own peers.

The Varsity Athlete of the Week for October 12, 2020 is Althea Nordlund '23, a sophomore on the girls varsity volleyball team. Althea was a key contributor in a 2-set victory over MICDS on Friday, October 16. She recorded 7 kills and 0 errors with a remarkable hitting percentage of 63.6%. Her consistent work ethic, quiet confidence, and calm demeanor make her someone her teammates and coaches can count on in all situations.
The Varsity Athlete for the Week of October 5, 2020 is Tia Sansone '22, a junior on the field hockey team. Tia's work ethic on the forward line and scrappiness to find a way to score helped the Warriors secure three victories last week. Tia scored 4 goals in a 5-1 victory over Parkway South, two goals in a 3-1 victory over Ladue, and added another goal in the team's 2-0 victory over Ursuline.
The Varsity Athlete of the Week for September 28, 2020 is Elli Rose '22, a member of the girls varsity tennis team. Elli finished second in the MSHSAA singles tennis tournament and advanced to the state sectional round. With a win, Elli will advance to the state tournament.
The Varsity Athlete of the Week for January 28, 2020 is Brooklyn Rhodes '23, a freshman on the girls basketball team. Brooklyn is currently averaging a double-double for the team. This past week, she averaged 14 points and 15 rebounds during the Warriors' games against three potential Class 3 playoff opponents. Brooklyn played key roles in all three victories with her contributions on offense and defense. In addition, Brooklyn continues to display great sportsmanship and consistently supports her teammates in practice and games.
