Varsity Athlete of the Week

The Varsity Athlete of the Week is Jackson Brungart '23, a senior on the track & field team. Last week in the District track meet, Jackson won the 1600 with a school record time of 4:27.37. He placed 2nd in the 800 with a time of 1:58.83--the 2nd fastest time in school history. He qualified in two events for the sectional track & field meet on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

The Varsity Athlete of the Week for May 8, 2023 is Danny Radke '23, a senior on the boys tennis team. Danny won the MSHSAA Class 1, District 3 singles title on Saturday, May 6, 2023. With the win, Danny advanced to the state sectional round and will play on Friday. He is also the defending singles state champion. Danny will continue his academic and athletic career at Washington University in St. Louis.

The Varsity Athlete of the Week for April 28, 2023 is Quinn Hoerman '23, a senior on the boys volleyball team. Quinn has been a steady force on the team for the last three years. He does many things that go unrecognized, such as drawing blockers to free up other hitters to be successful. When given the chance to attack, Quinn is one of the more dynamic hitters in the area, and in fact, he leads the St. Louis area in hitting percentage by a wide margin. Quinn's joy for the game and overall positivity is infectious and his impact on the boys volleyball program has been significant. Quinn is also a three sport varsity athlete--soccer, basketball, and volleyball--and was recently selected to play in the 38th annual Missouri Athletic Club North-South All Star Soccer Game on June 16, 2023 at the Soccer Park in Fenton.

The Varsity Athlete of the Week for April 19, 2023 is Ella Rogan '24, a member of the girls soccer team.

Ella is a quiet leader on the team and always gives 100%. She excels in scoring and producing opportunities for her teammates. Last week, Ella had 3 goals and 3 assists vs. Metro Academy. Ella currently has 7 goals and 7 assists and has led the Warriors to a 4-1 record on the season.
