We came, we danced, we raised over $260,000 for Whitfield's Annual Fund!

On April 17, 2019 the Whitfield community—past, present and future—came together to support the school and take a trip down memory lane to their high school Prom! The Cady Athletic Center was transformed into a sea of purple, pink, teal and lots of shimmering silver! After a lively cocktail hour and our silent auction, 215 guests sat down to enjoy a "surf & turf" dinner served by Butler’s Pantry. Below are some of the night's highlights!

Dessert Dash
New this year—Dessert Dash! Each table “bid” on dessert and later were able to choose from delectable offerings including a homemade caramel chocolate torte, beautifully decorated sugar cookies (thank you to Whitfield parents Dawn Jungermann and Alison Fox!), an array of Strange Donuts, and even a plate of your favorite packaged snack cakes. The table with the highest bid got to choose first and had the most time to make their selection.
Live Auction
The night progressed with an entertaining live auction, which featured the biggest star of the night—our PROM-tage Golden Retriever puppy! She was placed in very good hands—adopted by current parents Scott '98 and Kristen '99 Rhodes. Now she's officially Penny Rhodes, and “sister” of JR Rhodes '24!
