Whitfield’s academic goals are set at the highest (honors) standard. Students have the opportunity to prepare for Advanced Placement exams. Independent study in language, mathematics and sciences is offered for the exceptional student who completes Whitfield’s curriculum early.

To be eligible for graduation, current seniors are required to have four years each of English, social studies, mathematics, science and language; one year each of fine arts, physical education, life skills and health, Colloquium and Senior Seminar. Courses with bullets are required for graduation. The Head of School or Principal have the right to waive or alter any requirements.
