Middle School Spring Play Opens March 13
Posted 03/12/2018 02:02PM

Whitfield’s middle school spring play, “What You Don’t Know,” opens Tuesday, March 13, 2018. The play is an original script created by the cast and faculty member Keith Borzillo. Set in a fictitious middle school, the story is a character study of how 14 students perceive an argument that erupts as they are going to lunch. When things get a little intense, the group freezes in a tableau and then one by one, the characters peel off to deliver individual monologues and share their reflections on what happened.

“This cast is a very talented group of students who are excellent at improvisation,” said Borzillo. “As a result, this script was created with more of their individual voices and is an authentic reflection of some of the challenges of the middle school experience.”

No tickets are required but seating is limited in the Theater Black Box space located on the school’s garden level. The show is humorous and appropriate for all ages.
