Congratulations to Liam Dean ’19, Josh Paine ’18 and Mick Santose ’19 on their nominations for the 2018 St. Louis High School Musical Theatre Awards (SLHSMTA). Liam is nominated for Outstanding Actor for his role as Seymour Krelboyne in “Little Shop of Horrors.” Josh (voice) and Mick ’19 (manipulation) are nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor for their role as Audrey II in “Little Shop of Horrors."

The SLHSMTA are designed to celebrate outstanding achievement in high school musical theatre. Participating schools will have their productions evaluated by a panel of theatre professionals culminating in an awards ceremony at the Fabulous Fox Theatre on Sunday, June 10, 2018, 4:00 PM.

At the ceremony, students from participating schools will be represented in a professionally choreographed opening number on the Fox stage. Nominees in the Outstanding Actor and Outstanding Actress categories will perform in medleys with other nominees, and schools nominated for Outstanding Musical will perform one production number from their show.

The winners of the Outstanding Actress and Outstanding Actor categories will travel to New York to compete in the National High School Musical Theatre Awards program and to participate in a week-long professional development experience.
