The winter session of the Civitas Simulation Model UN General Assembly Session was held on Saturday, February 9, 2019. Among the highlights were Whitfield delegates Yutiancheng Yang ’20 and Xiaodi (Ade) Yang ’21 representing China. Their resolution was titled “Project of Further Construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt,” that detailed a thorough approach to establish a new international investment organization. There was substantial discussion from other delegates on the resolution.

Whitfield’s 2nd Annual Model UN Culture Banquet, organized by Model UN faculty sponsor Adam Attwood, will be on February 27 to celebrate the Whitfield Model UN Club members.
