Posted 09/21/2018 11:25AM

The Middle School Athlete of the Week for September 21, 2018 is Althea Nordlund '23, a member of the middle school volleyball team. Last week, in a tight 2 sets to 1 win over Rogers Middle School, Althea demonstrated tenacity, perseverance and a strong will to win. With a solid performance in all aspects of the game, whether in offense or defense, she gave her very best. In the last and decisive set to 15 points, Althea's strong serve gave Whitfield the lead early on in the set, which helped the team win the set 15-5 and ultimately the match. She pushed every player on the court to play their best.
