Whitfield Mathletes Score Strong Showing

Whitfield’s upper school math team— also known as the Warrior Mathletes —participated in the Excellence in Mathematics Contest at St. Louis Community College at Forest Park on Saturday, November 10. Three Whitfield freshmen placed in the top 10 out of all freshmen in the contest: Ben Hartmann ’22 (4th place), Keyao Song ‘22 (6th place), and James Wang ‘22 (10th place).

The freshman team (Ben Hartmann ‘22, Keyao Song ‘22, James Wang ‘22, and Alec Mella ’22) placed 2nd overall out of all freshman teams.

The senior team (Patrick Levitt ‘19, Anh Nguyen ‘19, Haonan Bai ‘19, and Clay Strege ’19) placed 4th out of all high school senior teams.
