Middle School Warrior of the Week: May 9, 2019
Posted 05/09/2019 10:31AM

The Middle School Warrior of the Week for May 9, 2019 is Cohen Panneri '24. Cohen is a quiet, determined leader whose actions always speak louder than any words. His sense of integrity is mature beyond his years. He always chooses to make the most ethical choice in any situation. Cohen stands up for what he thinks is right - he cannot tolerate injustice. In our recent Poverty Game simulation, Cohen was not afraid to defy the authorities and stand up for those who were not being treated equally. He put himself in 'jail' along with the students who were discriminated against in order to help make their voices heard. Even though he is extremely intelligent and quickly understands topics, Cohen pushes himself in the Habit of Scholarship in all of his classes because he loves to learn; his preparation is a thing of beauty. Cohen is incredibly modest and prefers to not be the center of attention. He loves to read and always thinks the book is better than the movie.
