Golf Team Earns Second Place at State

Whitfield’s varsity golf team earned second place at the MSHSAA Class 2 Golf Championships held May 13-14, 2019 at Rivercut Golf Course, Springfield, MO. Drew Newlin ’20 took medalist honors with third place. The Warriors posted a team score of 346 (344 + 342 = 686)—eight strokes behind the first place team. Drew finished at 149 (75 + 74)— three strokes behind the first place winner.
