Members of the Whitfield boys' varsity basketball team continue to make headlines despite the end of the season.

Julian Johnson '10 and Zach Ellis '12 were selected by the St. Louis American as Junior of the Year (Julian Johnson) and Co-Freshman of the Year (Zach Ellis). Julian was also selected to the three-team of the St. Louis American Boys Fab Five All-Star Teams and the St. Louis American's Athlete of the Week.

Julian Johnson was also named to the Class 3A AP All-State Team in addition to the MBCA All-State Team.
