COMMUNITY SERVICE COLLECTIONS KICK-OFF WITH PENCIL DRIVE

Whitfield's monthly community service collections for the 2010-11 school year kick-off on August 30, 2010 with a pencil drive for several St. Louis City public schools. Collection bins are located outside of Woods Hall and Room 302.

October – Canned Soup (Jewish Food Pantry)
November – Towels and blankets (Humane Society)
December
– Student Council directed collection for St. Patrick’s Center holiday gifts
January
– Travel size toiletries (Little Bit Foundation)
February
– Hats & gloves (Coat-A-Kid)
March
– Student Council directed canned food drive for Operation Food Search
April
– Toothbrushes (area homeless shelters)
