OVERVIEW | TEAM SCHEDULE

In 2013, the Whitfield squash team was founded by one of our students to provide the Whitfield community the opportunity to participate in one of the fastest growing sports in the country. Squash is a winter sport and Whitfield has a boys and a girls team. Practice is held three days per week at the MICDS squash facility. The team will play local scrimmages as well as travel to Chicago and the northeast for tournaments. The goals of the team are: learn a life-long sport, improve fitness, broaden college opportunities and have fun!

The teams are coached by David Payne and Preston Amos ’97. The coaches are avid squash players themselves, playing in local and out of town tournaments. Coach Amos, a graduate of Whitfield, played on the Colby squash team in college and is currently the #1 amateur in St. Louis.

The Whitfield Squash team is looking to build its roster for the 2017-18 season. Please contact Coach Payne to learn more.
