Sports Medicine

Whitfield School supports all student-athletes on and off the field. It is the school's policy to provide access to an athletic trainer and team doctor who will work to prevent and rehabilitate athletes' injuries should they occur. Whitfield's training resources are provided through a partnership with Mercy Sports Medicine.

Charlie Weir, ATC, Whitfield’s Athletic Trainer, earned a bachelor of science in sports medicine/athletic training from Lenoir Rhyne College in 2001 and is board certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
