This week's Warrior Moment recognizes Whitfield faculty member Mary Kate File.

Over the past two months, Ms. File sacrificed so much time in helping me prepare for All-District Honor Choir. Every Monday after school we worked, and she was always positive. On the day of the audition there was a mix up in books, and I didn’t know the song. I was discouraged and I wanted to quit but she wouldn’t let me. We found the new book and she taught me the song. She stayed cool and really helped me through the audition. This is my fifth year at Whitfield and Ms. File has helped me grow as a person and a singer every year. She works so hard, and she doesn’t get enough recognition. I believe she embodies the true spirit of a Whitfield Warrior.
