Parents' Council

Welcome Warrior Parents!

The parents’ organization of Whitfield School is the Parents' Council. Its purpose is to support Whitfield School in its goal to develop each students’ academic, cultural, creative, social and physical potential as designated within the school’s Mission Statement. The Council is a volunteer, parent-run organization that collaborates with the school to support a number of initiatives including the Campus Store, Conant Cafe, and Booster. Volunteers are also behind the scenes hanging artwork, preparing mailings, organizing meals for thespians, and providing support for numerous one day events throughout the year. This is where YOU come in! As parents and guardians of Whitfield students you are all members of the Parents' Council. You support its efforts through the dues you pay each fall. While dues are appreciated and necessary, they are only part of the picture. We also need your time and talents!

At Whitfield’s Sign Up Genius you will find descriptions of all volunteer opportunities, and have the ability to sign up electronically. I think you’ll find it a simple and handy tool. There are volunteer opportunities that fit all kinds of talents and time schedules and no experience is necessary so please take a peek and SIGN UP TODAY! Spots can fill quickly!

We all agree that a deep sense of community is what makes Whitfield special. Being a volunteer offers exposure to other parents, as well as to students, staff and faculty, thus creating a well-connected community. Our collective efforts enrich the experience generated for our kids, and offer us the opportunity to even have a bit of fun! Together we become a "Community in Action!"
