Whitfield senior Lindsey Grigg is an accomplished ice skater who has received recognition at the local, regional, national and international levels of competition.

Lindsey is a four-time qualifier for and competitor in the U.S. Figure Skating National Championships, earning medals at the Midwestern Sectional Championships. She earned the title “U.S. Figure Skating Gold Medalist” in two disciplines after training for and passing a series of tests for panels of professional judges. At age 14, she competed internationally with a world-qualifying level synchronized skating team and traveled to Salzburg, Austria to represent the U.S. in the Mozart Cup competition.

Last year, Lindsey made the decision to train and compete in the National Solo Dance Series at the senior (highest) level. She competed in multiple competitions around the country and placed 7th in the Midwest. Currently, she is preparing for her second season competing in the Solo Dance Series. Lindsey plans to continue skating through college with the goal of one day making the World Team in ice dance.
