Rising 5th - 8th Graders Welcome!
Our STEM Camp is a hands-on, project-based experience where students explore science, technology, engineering, and math in fun and meaningful ways. Campers will work with a variety of tools and materials to design, build, and test their ideas while tackling creative challenges that encourage curiosity and innovation.
Through individual and group projects, students will practice problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking as they experiment with technology, engineering concepts, and digital creativity. Each week offers new opportunities to learn, create, and discover in a supportive, engaging environment.
STEM Camp is ideal for students who enjoy figuring out how things work, trying new ideas, and bringing their imagination to life through hands-on learning.
- Session 1: June 8-12 $375
Roller Coaster Physics Lab
Discover the Science Behind the Thrill
Campers will become roller coaster engineers as they design and build marble roller coasters while exploring physics concepts like gravity, motion, friction, and energy. Students will experiment with loops, hills, and turns while testing how height and speed affect performance. Through hands-on design challenges and data collection, campers will refine their creations and prepare for an exciting Roller Coaster Expo at the end of the week. This action-packed camp brings physics to life through creativity and experimentation.
- Session 2: June 15-18 (4 day week) $300
Engineering Challenge Lab
Build It. Test It. Improve It.
Future engineers will dive into hands-on challenges that push creativity and problem-solving skills. Campers will design bridges, build earthquake-resistant towers, create wind-powered vehicles, and engineer protective egg-drop systems. Through testing and redesign, students will learn how engineers think and solve problems in the real world. This fast-paced week encourages teamwork, critical thinking, and resilience through trial and improvement.
- Session 3: June 22-26 $375
Mission to Mars: Space Exploration Camp
Launch Into Discovery
Blast off into a week of space science and engineering. Campers will build model rockets, explore the forces that affect flight, and learn how engineers design safe and successful launches. Students will collect data from rocket launches and design futuristic space cities that support life beyond Earth. This exciting week encourages teamwork, curiosity, and imagination while exploring the wonders of space exploration.
- Session 4: June 29-July 2 (4 day week) $300
Code Quest: Programming with Scratch & Code.org
Learn to Think Like a Programmer
Campers will step into the world of coding using Scratch and Code.org to create animations, games, and interactive stories. Students will learn coding basics such as loops, conditionals, and debugging while building their own custom projects. By the end of the week, campers will present their original games or digital creations. This week is perfect for beginners and students eager to explore the exciting world of programming.
- Session 5: July 6-10 $375
Eco Innovators: Environmental & Sustainability Camp
Design Solutions for a Better Planet
Young innovators will explore real-world environmental challenges and develop creative solutions. Campers will investigate climate science, design renewable energy models, build water filtration systems, and create sustainable city designs. The week concludes with an Eco-Innovation Pitch where students share their ideas for improving our world. This meaningful and engaging camp encourages critical thinking and environmental stewardship.
- Session 6: July 13-17 $375
Rube Goldberg & LEGO Robotics Engineering
Where Creativity Meets Machines
Campers will design and build imaginative chain-reaction machines while learning robotics fundamentals. Using LEGO robotics and simple machines, students will program robots to complete tasks and trigger mechanical systems. Teams will refine their designs through testing and collaboration before presenting their final robotic inventions during a week-ending showcase. This camp is ideal for builders, problem-solvers, and creative thinkers.
- Session 7: July 20-24 $375
MakerThreads Lab: Design, Print & Create
Where Creativity Meets Technology
MakerThreads Lab is a hands-on creative camp where imagination meets innovation. Campers will explore digital design as they create their own 3D-printed objects, craft custom shirts using Cricut Design tools, and stitch detailed cross-stitch patterns. Blending modern technology with traditional craftsmanship, students will experiment with materials and bring their ideas to life from concept to finished product. Whether designing wearable art, building miniature models, or creating stitched works from their own designs, campers will leave with new skills, unique creations, and the confidence to turn their ideas into reality.
- Session 8: July 27-31 $375
Digital Creators Lab: Media, Animation & Podcasting
Tell Stories Through Technology
In this creative STEM experience, campers will explore photography, stop-motion animation, and podcast production. Students will learn how to capture images, create moving animations, and record high-quality audio stories. By the end of the week, campers will share their own media projects, including animations, photo portfolios, and podcasts. This unique camp blends technology, storytelling, and creativity into one unforgettable experience.
